Insert glazed frames like the Sport-RX have a number of advantages over direct glazed. The first advantage is they are generally less expensive as the prescription lenses are not tinted. With this model the lenses are interchangeable; the prescription lenses are mounted behind the main frames protective lens. You can then choose any number of lenses to meet your needs. You have a choice from 5 different lens colours and finishes to meet all light conditions.
The Sport-RX was designed as a pair of cycling, running and golf glasses. The frame is made in 3parts and from 3 different materials, TR-90 frame to flex and allow lens change, Aluminium arms to save weight and rubber for grip. The end result is an extremely lightweight frame, comfortable enough to be worn all day. TheSport-RX also has a fully adjustable nose bridge for comfort, grip, and fit.
